What makes you passionate about working in childcare? Working in the childcare industry never has a dull moment. I love working with children and giving each individual child the best possible start in life through education and nurture. I love my job as I find it amazing to see children develop and learn in their own way. I feel proud that I can be a part of providing a loving environment that supports freedom of choice and inspires our children to learn to feel safe and be confident in finding their own individual personalities. Watching children learn to love and find them self for who they are is the greatest achievement as I know we are helping to set them up for great success later in life.

What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare? Wow, to pick just one...

Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare? I always have said to families and friends to go with their gut feeling when choosing a childcare. I believe our Centre has a home away from home feel. Our Educator team are all super stars. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful and loving team. We have had some lovely feedback so far, this year with new families explaining that they feel that our staff really value and care about them and their children. This is wonderful feedback to hear from brand new families at the start of the year when transitioning their children to childcare. It can be tricky, heart breaking and challenging for families dropping their children off for the first time, but our aim and goal is to help make it a positive transition and make sure every one is feeling 100 per cent comfortable. We do extended orientation when needed as we feel every family and child is different and have their individual needs. We believe that children need to feel a sense of trust, belonging, support and safety prior to being able to grow and learn. Children also need to witness that their family also have the sense of trust and belonging for them to be able to relax and enjoy their time here with us.

We are also lucky to have such a strong qualified team, majority of our educator team have been in the industry for quite some time, more than half of our educators have their diploma and most importantly all our educators absolutely love their job and it defiantly shows each day. 😊
